A patient has alopecia and the provider is going to inject steroid. I cannot find a code that is just for a 'general' injection for this. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

It will of course depend on the documentation as to the type of injection and site. If the provider is injecting specific lesions or affected regions in the scalp for treatment, then these would usually be coded as intralesional injections with CPT code 11900-11901. If it's a systemic injection being given IM or SC, you would use 96372.
