I am having an issue with finding what the correct code to bill for an IV infusion of 30cc Glutathione and 10cc multivitamin in 210 cc LR infused over 20 minutes. When the patient had an infusion over 30 minutes I used 99360, but Medicare did not pay. I can not use 99360 because it is under 31 minutes. Help please! :eek:
 
Are you certain the code you used was 99360? 96360 is hydration but once you add the vitamins it is not hydration. Also what dx code are you linking and were there any other codes.

You used a code for hydration, this was not hydration as demonstrated by the dx and the drugs added. If it was just 20 min you may need to bill this as an IV push.
