Wiki CPT code for Incision of scar at vaginal introitus

I am looking for a CPT code for an incision of scar tissue at the vaginal introitus. There was no excision, so no pathology. Physician made a vertical incision in the scar tissue from the vaginal introitus through the mid perineal body. He then sutured horizontally to secure the widening of the introitus. Done under local. Pt is not a current OB patient. Provider selected 12001.
I don't really find an appropriate code, but a repair code just doesn't seem right either. KnowledgeSource has a consumer description for 56441 as 'Removal of external female genital scar tissue', but it describes lysis of labial adhesions.

I have a pretty similar procedure, only no closure. scarred band of tissue perineal at the introitus; 3 months post partum; from 2ndary perineal laceration. used #15 blade to release thin band of scarring, slightly left from midline at perineum 6 o'clock, so its at 5:00. pressure with gauze applied further for few minutes until hemostasis was assured. hemostasis was assured. Thanks to any takers.

12001 is the closest you will come to simply making an incision and then sewing it up. If he had removed the scar tissue I would have recommended 11420 for this. I agree that 56441 is not correct in this instance.
