I'm sure this question has been asked before...but since Medicare does not pay 99000...are we still able to bill the 36415 when doing non-venous puncture tests such as flu/strep swabs?
 
You cannot report 36415 for swab tests. Medicare doesn't pay 99000 because its always bundled into a related service such as an E&M
