My physician performed a stereotactic procedure in one op note and then a excision biopsy in another op note, both on the same day. I am just not sure how to bill this out. I believe there is a CCI on these two codes together. Should I bill them separate with a modifier 58 on the second procedure? I did not mention that they are on separate breast. I am stumped.:confused:
