I'm having difficulty differentiating them from each other. Anyone have experience/ wisdom (maybe some examples) to share? Clearly, I'm missing some nuance. TIA

Hi there, take a look at the full descriptors for the interprofessional codes. You report 99446 when the consulting provider performs a written and verbal report. You report 99451 when the provider just performs a written report. For your question about remote monitoring could you review the guidelines for the codes and let us know exactly what you need help with?

Again, this is in the full descriptors. 99451 is reported by a consulting provider who only performs a written report. 99452 can be reported by the provider who requests the consult. Be sure to review the time requirements.
