Wiki CPT 99072

Is there an effective date range for CPT 99072? I have been hearing from some that payers are no longer reimbursing for this COVID PPE use code. Any insight would be helpful as I have not been able to find any effective 'end' date for the use of this code.

"No longer reimbursing." This made me chuckle as I think I had 2 claims ever that paid anything for it. Almost every carrier in my area has issued a policy that it is bundled in the other services provided.
It is a valid code, it just isn't reimbursed by most carriers.
