Need help with following scenario:
Pathologist goes to Ultrasound. Receives 2 specimens - A: Bile Duct Brushing and B: Liver Core Biopsy. While in ultrasound, a touch prep is performed on both specimen A and Specimen B. Result reported to performing physician in ultrasound. Can you bill 88333 for the brush and 88333 for the core biopsy?
(No frozen sections were done).
