The provider performed a Fusion, resection (28292) and a Correction, hallux valgus with bunionectomy, with sesamoidectomy when performed; with proximal phalanx osteotomy, any method (28298,) CPT 28740 and CPT 28298 were denied (Commerical insurance) stating that an appropriate code for these services. CPT 28292 wasn't billed because it was on the same site as 28298. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
