I am looking for a Medical Billing Client. I am looking for a Specialist Practice. I have extensive experience in Pain Management, Dermatology, OB/GYN, ENT, General Surgery, Gastroenterology… I am experienced in coding concepts, bundling, modifiers, CCI edits, E&M billing, hospital billing and documenting medical necessity.
I have over 20 years experience in the physician office and am also a consultant with experience in Auditing and all aspects of Compliance. This will benefit you as you will get an experienced biller with all consulting services included in the billing service. This will keep you and your practice safe and will save you thousands of dollars in consulting fees. I understand documentation requirements, how to prepare, and how to be successful in a RAC audit. I currently train physicians on how to properly document for the level E&M service you are billing. I am also experienced in contract negotiations which will allow me to immediately evaluate if you are being paid a reasonable rate and if the payments your are receiving are correct as these fee schedules are important tools you practice needs to be utilizing.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Biology and spent the first 10 years of my career in the clinical aspect of physician practices and hospitals. I believe this makes me a much stronger biller as I have the knowledge of procedures which I have witnessed or assisted in. One of my strengths is in AR follow up. I understand that billing is not just transmitting claims; it is tracking and fighting for payment on these claims. I utilize tools such as denial tracking logs to monitor and communicate back with the practice denials we are getting and how to minimize them. I have been a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) for over 8 years.
I worked for 8 years at a medical billing company and understand how important the billing department is and the responsibility this position carries. I am professional, organized and goal focused. I have my own billing software, which is internet based or I can utilize yours if it is internet based. I have strong experience with E-Clinical Works software and have assisted many offices in implementing EMR systems.
This is an uncertain time for physician practices and you must be prepared for the audits that are becoming more and more frequent, EMR requirements, coding impacts of the Affordable Care Act and have a strong network of experienced billing professionals to be able to assist.
