Hello,
I am signed up to take my CPC-H in a couple weeks and feel very prepared but had a panic this morning wondering if the ICD 10 will be the dx codes used on the test. On the website it still says ICD 9. Does anyone know when the certification exams switch over to ICD 10.

I feel confident that your exam will use the ICD-9 code sets. Don't panic, you will be fine. Good Luck!

The exam uses the book of that year. So since the ICD-10 books don't come into effect until Oct 1st and after your exam I wouldn't worry about it at all. If you're feeling very insecure however you can always email your instructor.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

I called AAPC on January 31, 2014 to ask them when CPC and CPC-H would start testing on ICD-10. I was told by the customer service representative that the CPC and the CPC-H wouldn't start testing for ICD-10 until January 2015.
