Work Experience:

April 2007–present – Practice Manager
In this position, I work independently under the direction of the doctor to manage the activities of his single physician practice. I directly manage his staff to satisfy the needs of his patient population. I am responsible for all compliance, training and supervision. In the day to day, I do all of the medical coding, charging, billing and review. My duties include payroll, all office accounting, and coordination of all dictation, which we sometimes outsource. I identify and implement process improvement to enhance the patient experience and increase reimbursement to the doctor.

Aurora Health Care – Milwaukee, WI
July 2006-February 2007 – Patient Access Representative / Patient Access Services
In this position I worked directly with patients in the emergency room at West Allis Memorial Hospital, collecting and recording all patient demographics, including patient consent. I became familiar with Cerner, our patient database.
Children's Hospital and Health System – Wauwatosa, WI

In this position, I provided administrative support for the President of the Medical Dental Staff, the Medical Directors, and Committee Chairs. In this position, I supported the Security Director, Manager and Shift Supervisors. I managed the security access and parking control systems.
