I am a CPC-A who is looking for an entry level position in the west valley region
of Phoenix.I have over 25 years experience in the medical field in front office,
Referrals,registration,phones,scheduling,prior authorizations,occupational
Therapy assistant,health unit coordinator.I am moving to Surprise,Arizona this fall 2014 and would like to start training and working soon after the move.I am
also learning ICD-10.

My best advice would be to see if your current employer will allow you to transition to charge entry or coding.

I started out at front desk, asked my employer if I could help out the billing dept with denied claims, I learned so much doing that. Then I was able to leverage that experience with a charge entry position, which was leveraged into a coding job.
