Is there a code we can use for physician couseling for flu vaccination?

The only code I can think of is 90460, but that is only for patients through age 18 and is added on to the code for the injection itself. If you're talking about an adult patient, I think counseling would be included in the administration of the vaccine in the first place, MAYBE as an E/M if the documentation supports it.

According to CPT guidelines at the beginning of the Immunization Administration section the counseling is included in 90471-90474 and should only be used when there is face-to-face counseling with the patient or family by the physician or other qualified health care provider.
