Not used to doing feet. Can you please help ?
This is the right fourth toe.
Longitudinal incision centered over the fourth toe. The distal interphalangeal joint was exposed medially and retractors placed medially and laterally. Using oscillating saw, we recected a small wedge of bone laterally. We had debrided articular cartilage from the remaining portion of the distal phalanx. It corrected the deformity of the toe and I then pinned it using a 0.045 K wire. We ran the pin across the proximal interphalangeal joint. Deep tissues again were repaired using 2-0 Vicryl suture, subcutaneous tissues closed using, suture, etc.
I am thinking 28285 ? Can you help ?
