A surgeon performs a 29881 arthroscopic meniscetomy. he states in his notes he sees a few floating fibers from a previous ACL repair so he performs a "debridement" of these few fibers that were floating. I feel that this should be included in the procedure and not billed as a seperate procedure. What would be the correct billing for this? Would like an answer ASAP please.
