Good afternoon everyone,

Does anyone out there have an updated listing of which payers recognize consultation codes and who does not that is willing to share this information with me?

I don't know that there is a "one list fits all". It may depend on your region and payer. Medicare and Replacement Plans; UMWA, and the VA for sure, do not accept them. However, I have seen others posts stating Anthem and medicaid doesn't either. We are in Indiana, and commercial Anthem accepts them, and so does basic Indiana Medicaid. Anthem HIP (Healthy Indiana PLan-medicaid plan administered by Anthem) and Anthem RBMC (risk-based managed care), does not.
