Are there any insurances we can still charge a consult code?

All of our commercial payers here in LA still allow consult codes. Medicare, the advantage plans, and Medicaid are our only payers that don't accept them.

We are in Indiana, and consult codes are accepted by everyone but Medicare, Replacement Plans, UMWA, VA, and HIP (Healthy Indiana Plan).

We are in NY and can't get anyone to process the consult codes. We instead use the modifier AI to identify the consult.
