Wiki Consult Code with Mod -25

I'm curious to know if other coders bill a modifier -25 with any consult codes? I have an edit popping up in my software that says "invalid modifier" everytime a biller adds a modifier -25 to a consult code. It seems acceptable, cosidering the doctor performed a Laryngoscopy (31575) during the office visit. The patient has a PPO. Any thoughts??
