I'm wondering how to code congenital pseudoarthrosis. The assessment reads: Left tibia stress reaction status post congenital pseudoarthrosis. I'm am using 729.5 for the tibia stress reaction but unsure how to code the second dx.
I have been told by another coder that I would use 756.51 (Osteogenesis imperfecta) however the book leads me to 733.82 but doesnt state congenital and 733.82 is a nonunion of a fracture which doctor states in his dictation that there is no fracture. Any help is appreciated! Thank you
