Hi, the pulmonology group I do the billing for does bronchoscopy with conscious sedation, they are administering the drug. If we bill the 99152 what modifier would I use as the AA, QZ and other anesthesia modifiers are not acceptable. I referenced and saw the 47 modifier may work ( anesthesia by surgeon) but medicare does not accept this modifier, so would I use the G0500 and what modifiers does this require?
