Hello all and happy holidays!
I have a case that Essure w/ Hysteroscope was done to both tubes then found fluid/blood then inserted laparoscope and noticed the Essure on the left perforated the uterine wall. The left Essure was then removed and discarded.
The perforation was then cauterized. Because the left side tube did not have the Essure it was cauterized to serilize and this was repeated on the right side for added safety......HELP!
I feel to break out the CPT's 58565, 58670 w/ dx's V25.2, 996.39?? But not sure about modifiers....Any takers. I'm at a ASC and don't get these kind of cases too often
