How does one go about getting a compliance program started?

We do not have one implemented in our office and I would like to know about how to go about doing this.

I would suggest referring to the Federal Register. In 2000 the OIG (Office of the Inspector General) published the guidelines for a compliance plan for physician practices. Here is the website link to the report. http://www.oig.hhs.gov/authorities/docs/physician.pdf
