I work for an ortho surgeon that basically only does knee surg. We just got a new physician that is seeing anything and everything while he gets established. Good for the clinic, confusing for the coder that has only ever coded knees.....Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Post op Dx:
Left hallux valgus second toe metatarsophalangeal joint dislocation and hammer toe.
Operative procedures:
Left Bunion correction with scarf osteomy from lateral soft tissue release, akin proximal phalanx osteotomy, second toe weil ostoeotomy, second toe PIP resection, and extensor tendon lengthening.
Honestly so flummoxed I dont know where to begin
