So there's a patient that came in for right elbow pain and got 2 views of the right elbow taken and 1 view of the left for comparison. They ended up being diagnosed with right elbow flexor pronator syndrome (354.1?).Can i charge for the comparison view? If so, what cpt codes/modifiers/diagnosis would i use?
Also, if i have a patient that has a cast and there are x-rays taken with the cast on and more x-rays when the cast is off, can i charge twice? If so, how would i do it? The same as above?
Thank you for all the help!
