Wiki Comparison code needed for trephination

Arthroscopically my surgeon is doing a medial meniscectomy and also a trephination of the meniscus. This is reducing the pressure and producing "bleeding in the region". Is this considered same as pick arthroplasty, 29879?

Mary (mbort) stated to use Unlisted 29999.

I compare it to 29882 or 29883, because it's the meniscus.

How can you compare it to a repair if a repair is not made? Also 29880 medial meniscectomy is bundled in 29882. I still would not be able to code for the trephination, which is clearly more work than a straight medial mensicectomy but not as much work as the medial meniscus repair.

Please help.
