I have been geting conflicting answers about screening vs diagnositic colonoscopy Patient comes in for a screening colonoscopy polyps are found and removed does this become a diagnositic or does it remain a screening?

Yes, it does become a diagnostic. But that is why they "created" the PT and 33 modifiers. To show that even though it became a diagnostic it started as a screening and, as such, should be processed with the patients screening benefits.
