We've been going around and around on this one. We don't have a lot of information as to what happened other than its a skull fracture with subarachnoid hemorrhage. Patient is now in SNF. I can't find a skull fracture that doesn't' indicate loss of consciousness, we don't know that. I don't know why type of skull fracture. The only cognitive defects I can find are due to stroke. I'm leaning toward sequela of skull fracture. Someone else says history of head injury. We're only treating the cognitive defects. I'd appreciate any help anyone has. It's one of those day and I think I've spent too long looking at it.
