Wiki Coding the birth of twins when is by C-section

I am studying for the medical coding test and ran across this question where the senario iis the first is born vaginally with no complications and the second is born by C-section because it was turned around.

I coded the vaginal delivery first and the C-section second and the answer guide said I should have done the other way around.

I found a training video on YouTube that says that I should do what I did above. Which is correct and where can I find in the manuals where it says that?

Hello,

You would code first the cesarean delivery since it has higher RVUs, followed by the vaginal delivery. I'm guessing this is what your book meant by "other way around".
