Wiki Coding question for 2 surgeries/1 session

Good morning fellow coders

We have a patient who will be having surgery by two separate physicians on two separate anatomical areas at the same encounter. My question, how do I bill, would I bill each separately? My thinking is that being that these are two separate anatomical areas I could bill each procedure full price ? Please help as this is the first time we have had this occur.

because the surgery is taking place during the same encounter (not leaving the operating room) this will be subject to the multiple procedure discount according to your contract. Because there are two different surgeons, there is no way to put this on one claim form though.

we print to paper and write in the information for the other surgeon. it is subject to multiple procedure discounts.
