Wiki Coding pre-op visit

I need clarification regarding billing for a pre-op visit that occurs the day prior to the surgery (actually it occurred on Friday with surgery scheduled for the following Monday). Can I charge for this visit, or is it considered part of the global?

The CPT Surgical Package states one E/M encounter on the date immediately prior to surgery or on the date of the surgery, is included in the global. Check your local carrier for any other guideline such as within 30 days
