Wiki Coding "pre colonoscopy" visit using time component

hi,

my doc's know they can't bill their pre-colon visits but now are trying to bill them using "counseling time" because we bring our patients in before a colonoscopy that have problems (eg diabetes, copd, etc)

i'm sure this isn't a good idea but i can't find anything saying NO! anybody had this come up??

I have had a similar discussion with mine. But basically what's the CC? Reason for Visit?
I don't think that will fly.
