Hi,
Can anyone tell me what their process is for HCC coding of medical records when there is no claim on file for global periods? Example-Mother delivers baby on Jan 1. Mother goes in for a post partum followup up on Jan 20. The provider does not submit a claim for Jan 20. Would you connect the Jan 20 medical record with the Jan 1 claim on file? or any other times there are global periods used?
