About this Job:
The Coding Manager assures that medical records are coded in accordance with client contracts and official coding guidelines. Provide client and coder educational feedback and support, to foster team work approach for success of client/company relations. Educate healthcare professional on an institution wide basis in Coding, guidelines and practices. Develop and maintain the coding and departmental policies, procedures and objectives and is responsible for the integrity of that knowledge and validity of the data contained in the coding platform.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will demonstrate competency in the use of ED Pace and Laser fiche software and other word processing, spreadsheet and internet software is required. Prior supervisory experience and 2-3 years related experience preferred. CPC/CEDC or equivalent certification preferred.
