Wiki coding help-Sigmoidoscopy

Doctor dicates for Flexible Sigmoidoscopy. In operative report doc says that with the sigmoidoscope was only able to advance the scope to the mid rectum secondary to stool.
Should I code this as 45300 or 45330?

How about 45330-53 since he could not continue up into the sigmoid colon

I hadnt thought about that. I think we can make thinks more difficult than they have to be.

I am with asc so i would need to use modifier 74, correct?
