My doctor wants to bill for a pin removal 20670.
It is my understanding that I cant due to the fact it is inclusive in the original procedure??

Can someone guide me? Tell me about billing this code?

You can bill for pin removal, It is not considered included in the primary procedure.

Is he just pulling a K-wire out in the office? Then not separately billable with 20670.

if this is being done in the office, then it is bundled into the global surgical package and not separately reportable.
