Wiki Coding for physician observation

I have a doctor who attended a patient per the parents request a speech therapy session. I was wondering if anyone knew a procedure code for this. I thought there was some type of code for physicians doing care that did not involve examining the patient but this was quit awhile back. Any help would be great.

What did the physician do? What was the medical necessity of this? Sounds almost like it might be a private pay situation.
