I was wondering if a pt is seen for evaluation of gestational diaetes and currently on insulin do I code 648.83, 250.01 or 648.03, 250.01.? thanks for your help. New at Ob/Gyn coding.

The code for GDM on Insulin is 648.83 and V58.67 as the secondary code. Hope this helps!
