I am hoping someone will be able to clarify the codes used for "dry needling?" I have read many things but not sure what would be the correct code. What I have read I understand that dry needling is using a solid filament needle at the trigger point areas instead of using needles to inject any medication or analgesics in the same area for pain managment. I would appreciate any information and/or links to help me find the proper code for this type of procedure as my pain managment doc would like to try "dry needling" as an option for our patients. Thanks in advance to anyone that may help.
