How do you code for the administration for a pt who comes in with their own Depo provera prescription? You wouldn't code the J1055 would you?

You would only code the administration, not the drug as you did not provide the drug. Hope this helps.

We have patients who bring us the Depo to inject as well. we only bill the administration code of 96372. hope this helps. ~ Ashley
