Can someone help me with the exclusions for PCOS? I've been told that infertility was a type 1 exclusion, which means that PCOS and infertility should not be billed on the same claim. Is this correct?
I do not see any exclusions for infertility for the PCOS diagnosis. I believe it would be important to document that the patient also has associated infertility.
