I sometimes have a very hard time at my job coding the E/M Office Visit. I have a template I can use there, but it takes up more time than I'd like, and I sometimes have a difficult time with even that. My boss has been talking to me lately about how I have to be faster in getting more encounter forms in in a day. Can anyone help me with this? Obviously, this is probably the most important part of my job, so this can't keep happening. Does anyone know maybe a simpler way I can determine the level a little faster? I appreciate the help, thanks!
 
While I can certainly understand your bosses position of wanting you to have higher production, your quality is more important. Getting coding right the first time will insure that your office is being paid correctly, and will lessen chances of down coding. You need to be sure that your documenation supports the codes that are being billed.
