I code for ASC, is anyone else having an issue with BCBS bundling 29824 and 29826 in with other codes like 29827 and 29823? BCBS is only paying for 1 code and state the others are inclusive.

I code for physicians. Codes 29824 & 29826 do not hit any edit so both should be allowed. I do know that BX is not up to speed with the changes made in 2017 allowing 29823 to be billed with 29824, 29827 & 29828. So even though there is not an edit and the Surgical Policy Manual specifically states it can be billed, BX does not allow it yet.
