HCA Physicians Services Group Mountain Division is continually recruiting for Coders and Billers for our Utah locations. HCA Physician Services Group is an integrated healthcare system that offers the communities we serve high quality, cost effective care. We are looking for applicants who will provide billing and coding experience to our physician practices.
Responsibilities
CODER-(Salt Lake City, Brigham City, Logan, and Layton)
Duties
* Review charges for coding accuracy
* Ensure charge info provided is correct and accurate
* Abstract CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 from medical record
* Charge entry into billing system in a timely manner
* Train providers on documentation and coding
Qualifications
Knowledge and Certifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum one year medical billing experience preferred
* Knowledge of ECW or EPIC Practice Management or EMR
* Coders must be certified through AHIMA or AAPC
