Wiki Code challange for New Patient confirmed pregnancy

Hello,

I am not sure how to icd 9 code a new patient that has already had a confirmed pregnancy in the ER or with another physician, I don't think v72.42 is the correct code. Physician will not initiate New OB until he has established a history on these new patients. I would appreciate your feedback.

You have no choice. The pregnancy is already confirmed by healthcare professional and that is why the patient is here. Not for you to confirm it but for you to be the OB. You must begin the OB global with this first encounter using the V 22.0 or V22.1
