In the following link to the Medicare Benefit Policy Manual (item #130, pg 29-31),

My understanding is that no physician or group may bill for patients who meet the definition of immediate relative of any one in the same billing group. My question to all of you is: is there any reason to beleive that this policy would not apply to emergency physicians? Is there anyone out there who does not follow this policy and do you have any documentation to serve as back up!
Thank you all for your contributions!
