We have a 10 year old boy with fracture of the radial shaft and ulna shaft.
Doctor is going to do a closed reduction with possible pinning. I can find codes for the closed reductions (with manipulation ), but am not seeing any codes that include the percutaneous pinning. Am I just not seeing them?
I need help with the codes for this.
Of course, when I get the operative report, it could be completely different,
and I can cross that bridge at that time. However, for insurance authorization now ( and future reference ) what code(s) would you suggest
for closed reduction w/manipulation and percutaneous pinning radial and ulna shaft fractures ?
