I was wondering how offices charge for closed treatment fractures in the office? Do you bill Global with a surgery code, or Itemize each visit? I just noticed the article I am reading was from 2008. I don't know if you still have the option.
 
If the decison is made to do closed treatment during the office visit you would add a mod 57 and then Pt would be under global care for 9o days.
