Hi all,
Currently hold the CPC credential as of 2017 and am considering obtaining another certification in the fall. I am bouncing back and forth between CIC and CRC. Just wanting some thoughts from fellow coders on which you think would be more valuable based on your experiences? I have only worked for a large group practice up to this point.

I think it would depend on what you want to do, since they are pretty different. I currently hold the CPC and CRC but only obtained my CRC because of the job I had at the time (doing MRA reviews for a large insurer). Is your group practice on risk contracts? If so, the CRC would be valuable. If you are looking to get into inpatient coding, the CIC would be helpful.
