Hello

I am looking for an ICD 10 code for chondrocalcinosis of the femur...not of the joint. Everything I am reading states for joint. Are there any other options?

Chondrocalcinosis is a disease of the joint, not of the bone. If the provider has documented that it is related to the femur, then it must be either the hip or the knee. If not specified which and the provider cannot be queried, then I would use M11.20.
